The biggest levers for sustainable construction
The postcards offer planners a compact overview of the most effective measures for sustainable construction. Three postcards summarize the biggest levers in the city, building and detail scales. The lever lexicon is based on the current state of knowledge and is not a general guide, but rather provides food for thought for daily work. We see it as a starting point for discussions about sustainable construction and as a basis for the further development of building culture.
The goals of sustainable construction are:
net zero greenhouse gases in the construction industry by 2030,
minimizing resource consumption,
reducing environmental pollution and
consistently promoting biodiversity.
The measures presented in the lever lexicon not only help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and resource consumption, but also offer creative challenges and a noticeable improvement in the quality of life.
