The exhibition "Switzerland: A Demolition," curated by Countdown 2030, was on display at the Swiss Architecture Museum (S AM) in Basel from September 3 to October 23, 2022. The exhibition explored various aspects of demolition and revealed the complex network of dependencies in which demolition in Switzerland is entangled. Five distinct "demolition worlds" made the multifaceted nature of the topic tangible for visitors. Simultaneously, the comprehensive accompanying program and events outside the museum reached a wide audience. Visitor numbers, positive feedback, extensive media coverage, and inquiries about potential new exhibition venues throughout Switzerland demonstrated the exhibition's impact. Several of the initiatives launched in conjunction with the exhibition have continued beyond its run and have already been adapted and further developed by other institutions.
